I’m so sick of all the ‘rules’ dictated to me in magazines!!!!!!
PEOPLE WHO HAVE STYLE FOLLOW THEIR OWN RULES!!!!!!!!
My friend Michelle, on the blog alot, a very stylish gal…I think she looks great. What would she do if Glamour Magazine said, “Pilgrim dresses are so over”?
I just read in ‘GQ’ magazine that square toed shoes are done forever- really? Such declarations are arrogant, silly, and too general to work for everyone.
Magazines are great for ideas but don’t ever let them dictate to you what to do or wear.
I also find seeking relationship advice from magazines to be absurd and a mistake.
I like magazines and always have but there are bijillions of other ways and means to find inspiration…like what you like unabashedly!!!!!

costumes for the day: Hollidays Holiday 2011
Monsieur Foss et moi are a dynamic duo who have a dilemma- a dilemma in regards to what to call ourselves- not only as a gay couple (partners, boyfriends, spouse, significant other…) but as a familial unit. As someone who is discriminated against daily- especially when it comes to marriage equality- I wanna rip off a girls ponytail when I hear that, although married, she is keeping her last name. How unromantic and anyway- follow the rules- it’s a small sacrifice…
Anywho- tell me what you think- Monsieur Foss has a wonderful middle name, ‘Holliday’ and we were thinking that would be our new last name. I think it has a lovely ring to it- Mr. and Mrs. Holliday- can you guess who the Mrs. would be?
So these are some of our costumes over the holidays (sorry I’ve not been actively blogging but all the strength I can muster goes into getting through ‘the most wonderful time of the year.’
